Changes to Pricing
Lycatel is committed to providing the best rates available to our customers at all
times. However, there are circumstances where the rates may alter for your chosen
destination such as wholesaler carriers adjusting their rates without notice to
Lycatel. You can always find current rates on this website for your chosen destination
by selecting your calling card from the Lycatel eshop. Before connecting your call,
a voice prompt will notify you of the number of minutes available to your chosen
destination and the per minute rate so you will always know if rates have increased
or decreased for your chosen destination.

Lycatel cannot be held responsible for charges levied by your network provider that
are outside of its control. Lycatel advise that you check with your telecommunications
service provider for full information on call charges by quoting the Lycatel access
number that you wish to use to place your call. Calls to 0845 or 0871 numbers may
be considerably higher than calls placed to 0207 numbers. Mobile telephone can cost
considerably more if you are dialling access numbers outside of your mobile provider’s

using a payphone. Lycatel advises that you avoid using payphones to avoid these
charges.
Technical and Service Performance
Lycatel takes pride in its extensive capacity to handle the millions of calls placed
across the network each year. Lycatel will not intentionally disconnect any calls
provided that there is sufficient credit available on your calling card. However,

How Your Call Minutes are calculated:
The minimum number of minutes deducted from your balance when making a call is 12
minutes per call. Calls are charged in 12 minute increments, regardless of the length
of your call. For example, A 3 minute call would result in a 12 minute deduction
from your minute balance or a 15 minute call would result in a 24 minute deduction
from your minute balance remaining on your calling card.
Each time you use your calling card, a voice prompt will always notify you of the
total number of minutes you have remaining so you are aware of how long you have
to talk each time you make a call. You can of course contact our customer services
team on 0207 101 2250, Monday-Sunday, 8AM-8PM. if you would like to know more about charges
or the UNI AFRICAinternational calling card.
